Problem
- iPhone X: Couldn’t update / restore / activate phone. I have had the phone since launch.
- Second malfunctioning key on MacBook Pro (down arrow this time).
Diagnosis:
- Turned out to be a hardware issue causing cascading issues. The Apple Pay sensor failed.
- The key was failing.
Resolution:
- Replaced iPhone X with new iPhone X.
- Replaced the down arrow key.
Both problems are 100% solved and it was in record time! I wasn’t in there for much more than 40 min. 😃
